After being away for ten years, Stevie Garza, an artist and traveler who's failed to define her true identity, returns home to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas amidst a global health crisis. While trying to locate her mother's body, who recently passed away from a respiratory disease, Stevie experiences for the first time in her life a deeper emotional connection to herself, others and her surroundings.
