Horizon (2017)

With HORIZON, Philippe Ménard wishes to make us take height and resize our human place, between sky and earth, facing the horizon. He takes us on a choreographic adventure that seeks to immerse us in a "sensation of the world", in an organic intimacy of our common condition as human beings in their quest for meaning, facing the infinite. HORIZON proposes to let us be seized by the "oceanic feeling" evoked by Romain Rolland: the sensation of experiencing and understanding the world in its entirety. The piece reveals a vibration that seeks to reconnect us to our senses and to redraw a primary and sensitive collective horizon, far from any chapel or dogmatism, the time of a dance that takes, here, all the allure of an enigma to be solved: how to feel alive, together?
