Remember to Breathe (2022)

Yuko, the eldest daughter, slowly lifted her head and stared at Hiroko at the words of reproach that suddenly leaked out of her mother Hiroko's mouth. A deep, irreversible rift between her mother Hiroko and her eldest daughter Yuko. Yuko is embarrassed by her mother who forces her to wear clothes in colors she doesn't like. Yuko's heart was somewhat lonely as she gazed at her mother's back from a distance as she happily walked with her younger sister, Akiko, on the road where her cherry blossoms were in full bloom. In this work, Yuko's younger brother and eldest son Katsu, and the relationship with the manager of the supermarket where Yuko works, depicts the deep rift between the mother and her daughter, which is not filled up little by little.
