Three Creams, Two Sugars (2021)

Milo is dead. When he finds himself sitting across from his lover, Derek, in the waiting room of the afterlife, Milo begins to go through the stages of grief as he processes the events that lead to their deaths. Derek explains that there is only one way for Milo to move into the afterlife: Milo must admit that he loves Derek. Overcome with emotion, Milo is unable to accept his feelings for Derek. Instead, he breaks the mug of coffee that sits between them and winds up in back in denial as the interaction starts over.
