Transplant Games (2015)

"Transplant Games: A Documentary" follows 5 transplant recipients as they compete in this year's Transplant Games, held July 11th - July 15th in Houston, Texas. By sharing their personal stories of strength and courage, donors and donor families honor their lives and the lives of their loved ones. ABOUT FILMMAKER: Cressandra Thibodeaux is the Executive Director of 14 Pews, but she is also a filmmaker with an MFA from Columbia University's Film Program. Since graduating she has worked on numerous documentaries, directed 3-award winning commercials and numerous short films. She is excited about working on this project because she believes in spreading the word about becoming an organ donor and also in celebrating the lives these organs have saved.
