explicit/occasionally coded horror with transgender character(s), for this list, transgender horror is defined primarily as horror films (sometimes horror-thrillers) containing one or more transgender characters. if the character(s) in question are not explicitly stated to be trans, they may still be included if their coding is strong enough to justify it (example: frankenstein created woman). usually this means a character engaging in deception of their gender, “in the wrong body” rhetoric, etc. films where characters briefly go into drag for laughs are not included. films are currently in order of release.  additions/recommendations always welcome, but i (usually) will not add…
