The Search Engine tells the story of a selection of people from a small village in the very heart of Anatolia, each, chasing things of vital importance in their own world... for some, the search is of a partner; for some, of some money or dignity; for others, it is simply the search of some water... Will these people ever find what they are looking for? Likewise, the movie itself, denotes a cinematographic search for its director Atalay Tasdiken in his challenge of the absolute improvisation of the purely amateur cast of the village.
