Naked In Alaska the series is the behind the scenes story of stripping in The Last Frontier, based on the autobiographical award-winning one-woman show written and performed by Valerie Hager. When Val, early 20s, a recovering addict/bulimic, is dumped, fired, and evicted, her best friend invites her to strip for the summer in Fairbanks, Alaska at a club run by the Hell's Angels. Val's friendship turns into a rivalry when she unexpectedly rises in the club's ranks, exposing her to increasing danger. Where nakedness, abuse, addiction, the need to win, money, secrets, betrayal, redemption is every day life. A complex community where friendships stand in for family and each must find their own path to redemption.
