College Bound: Window of Hope

"I'm College Bound." At least that's what I was telling everyone, but life can change with the flip of a switch; for me, so much so that going to college would be the least of my concerns. An only child, track star, and ranked first in my class, and with dad being a professor, going to college was never a question in my life. I was excited, after all, going away to room with my two best friends, Angie Cartwright and Jamie Peterson, I mean, what could go wrong? It was going to be the best four years of my life....until that day; the day I was taken, with nothing to rely on but my faith and a small little window to the world beyond. My name is Isabella Santiago, and this is my story. "College Bound: Window of Hope" is a faith based story about Human Trafficking. It's a story based on a real person, Isabella Santiago (Izzy), and a real serious problem in our world. The story evolves over the course of four years where we follow the lives of Isabella from the times she taken, and into the dungeon where she is locked away, where her only view to the outside world is through a small window. Yet, what lies outside the window soon becomes not only Izzy's hope for a future, but also the cinematic window into the lives of her parents and their struggles to stay together under shattering faith; and the abnormal college life of Angie and Jamie, who are constantly interviewed and awakened to the dangers of this billion dollar industry. Four years have passed, and college graduation day has arrived, the girls are excited but flash backs to 'that day' are haunting the attendees, which include the Santiago's...yet the party must go on...that is, until they get a phone call...
