ENEMY

In the final days of the West's fraught withdrawal from Afghanistan, as the country collapses into chaos, two women from opposing sides forge an uneasy alliance to stay alive. Lance Corporal Eve Smith (26) is co-pilot on the last helicopter transporting prisoners out of the country. When they are hit by an RPG, the helicopter crashes leaving Eve and prisoner Nasira Afridi, wife -now widow- of a high-ranking Taliban official, the only survivors. Stranded, presumed dead, in the harsh and unforgiving mountains of Afghanistan, the two women confront their mutual mistrust and animosity. Over the next few days, as the women reluctantly work together to survive, Eve forces them towards Pakistan. But the Taliban learns they are alive. It's only a matter of time before they're found. But by which side?
