True Warrior (2013)

Toto, a young widow, raises her 11 year old daughter, Victoria, after her husband died one night in duty working as a firefighter. Toto became a boxer to be able to take care of her daughter financially. One morning while training at the gym, she received a phone call from school, her daughter wasn't feeling good. She took her to the emergency room, only to find out that Victoria had leukemia. Toto's life changed drastically. Not only did she fight her opponents on the ring but also, Toto joined her daughter in a war where life is not a guarantee, but where hope, dedication, and love are your best alleys. Together, they will embark on a beginning of a journey that will bring them even closer as mother and daughter.
