When the Sky Falls (2015)

In the opening of the film, a man while walking his dog, gets struck by lightning under the gigantic steel power poles.

The father Jamie quickly pulls his daughter out of the river stream but his foot is still in the water as lightning strikes the water and it causes his foot to go numb and cripples him.

There are scary scenes where the family is surrounded by lightning bolts around the ground including at the junkyard area.
