Shirley, a single mom with four sons, has cared for others her whole life. Her son Ross has had a dream of a political career ever since he was an eight year old boy watching the inaugural address of John Kennedy. Shirley has been a role model to him throughout his life living Tikkun Olam; repairing the world one person at a time. She has also been Ross' biggest supporter and fan in his campaigns. Now Shirley has Alzheimer's. That doesn't stop her from being the same caring person she always was. As Ross faces a decision to either run for Congress or to fulfill a promise he made long ago to care for his mom at home, Shirley has one more act of kindness to perform before Alzheimer's engulfs her life.
