Deprived (2014)

A lonely young deaf boy who lives with his abusive step-father decides to take control of his life. With some advice from a counsellor he takes matters into his own hands as he seeks to fix his toxic relationship with his step-father and even try to win the attention of a girl he likes. Things go awry when he misses an opportunity to connect with the girl, causing damage caused by years of emotional deprivation to bubble to the surface.
