The Hunters (2016)

Contemporary Moscow. The story centers around a 28-year-old writer, an urban romantic, who works as a journalist in a small magazine. After his girlfriend leaves him, he dives into a world of cinematography and his own fantasies, in which he imagines her and him in different roles and genres. He falls deeper and deeper into these imaginary worlds, and begins to confuse them with his real, everyday life of meeting friends, strolling around the city, and interviewing unusual people. As it becomes harder and harder for him to distinguish his fantasies from reality, his life descends into a hurricane of unpredictable twists.
