A free-spirited girl, Harleen Quinzel, becomes a psychiatrist at the dangerous Arkham Asylum and falls in love with her murderous patient, known as "the Joker". Falling for the Joker causes Harleen to embrace her criminally insane alter ego as Harley Quinn and drags her best friend, Pamela Isley, into a series of life-altering events. Pam hopes to influence the planet to "go green" as her newfound persona, Poison Ivy, and Harley tries to rescue her beloved Clown Prince from the Asylum.
