The Light (2014)

The film tells a story of a hero that serves and protects the innocent. One day tragedy happens, leaving the hero broken, He finds himself unable to overcome it. He reaches the moment of despair and contemplates ending the pain by ending his life and giving up on all what life has to offer. He quits his job at the SWAT team, leaves his girlfriend and his home, traveling far to a new place to spend his last days. He rents a one bedroom apartment from a young single mom with two young kids. He finds himself torn between the decision to give up, or to continue his life mission and protecting the young family from a ruthless group of thugs.
