There will be no peace among the nations without peace among the religions. There will be no peace among the religions without dialogue among the religions. This film is a travelogue as experienced by a youth participating in the search of exploring and understanding different faiths. These experiences did not only dispel a variety of myopic myths from the minds of the youth but also coax one to continue on the path of deeper questioning and realization of one's existence. The Foundation of Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama organizes a fourteen-day programme to embrace religious diversity, build cross-cultural understanding and encourage spiritual growth through first hand exploration of different faiths and traditions. The fourteen-day program includes lectures, discussions, practices and the histories of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Jainism. In this program, participants travel to different places in South India and meet eminent religious teachers. The inter-faith dialogue often involves promoting understanding between different religions to increase acceptance of others, rather than to synthesize new beliefs. This film captures the experiences of the different people participating in their quest to understand faith. In today's unstable society where religion has been misused and bastardized, this film is a small step in understanding the true meaning of religion. This travelogue is the story of the world we live in surrounded by different faiths, belief system and the misconceptions. Through this journey and deeper understanding we all can play a small role in healing the society and making it a better place to live in.
