Alter Ego (2016)

The main character of the film is a well-known contemporary writer and a university professor at the department of journalism. He is overwhelmed with the idea of creating a novel about the great Komitas Vardapet. In order to make the movie more realistic the main hero makes an attempt to pass through the excruciating way that his literary personage had once passed. Basing himself on historical facts, archived materials and psychological versions the hero tries to reveal the Parisian fragment of the Master's biography and spread light on the mystery of the last years of the great son of Armenia, which he spent in the mental health facility in Villejuif.
