Lyrical miniature woven from a mosaic of fragmentary memories and sensations. About the tragic love of the poetess Lesya Ukrainka to the revolutionary Marxist Sergey Merzhinskiy. He, accustomed to being in the center of the struggle, suddenly found himself dying of tuberculosis and cut off from his comrades-in-arms. All were scattered in prisons, exile and underground.
