Amber is a short film by performer, writer and director, Andi Osho and focuses on one twisted night where obsessed teenager, Amber Gorman terrorises Charlie Love, heartthrob and member of boy band One Summer. A devastated Amber breaks into his home after learning he is to leave the band, imploring him to change his mind. At first he dismisses her but when she reveals their shared history, events take a dark turn. Inspired by a documentary about One Direction fans, Amber is a smart, tense thriller which explores obsession, teen desire and celebrity culture. In Charlie Love, we have a jaded, cynical and exhausted pop star pursued by Amber, a devoted but ultimately disturbed teenager who struggles to stay grounded in reality. From Fatal Attraction to Play Misty For Me, movie fans have always enjoyed the thrill ride of the obsessed character. Here Amber offers an exciting twist on the genre, telling the story from her point of view and delving deeper into her psyche.
