Porta Venezia, Milan. While students and temporary workers are demonstrating to support the uprising in the Arab world, Elena and Margherita whore in their own way. Elena became a prostitute by chance, because she is lonely; Margherita looks for men on the Internet. Beyond the Mediterranean Sea, the North African populations fight for their right to exist and to conquer a new way of life. In this setting a relation emerges between the two women's stories, the African protesters and the Italian demonstrators.
