With kith and kin, Maike makes a stopover in her idyllic home village of Füdrum. There, son Jasper and daughter Luise finally meet their grandmother Inge. Maike only wants to camp in her garden for a few days - until she can tell Jasper who his biological father is. Three childhood acquaintances come into question: farmer Hinnerk, car mechanic Ole and the former heartthrob Torben. None of them suspect anything when Maike pulls up in her museum-ready camper van. Because nobody knows that she was pregnant when she disappeared eleven years ago. However, the three gentlemen do not want to get involved in a DNA test. Instead, they team up to settle things as quietly as possible. Some women in the village are not very happy about the return of the self-confident Maike, who was able to turn everything upside down before. Ole's quarrelsome mother blames her for the fact that her son didn't marry anyone else. School friend Gesa fears for her marital bliss with Torben, because the couple could not have their own children. And Hinnerk's longtime partner Amke only feels sick in Maike's presence. Even the sister-in-law of the pastor, who has died in the meantime, taunts as ever. In short: soon everything feels as terrible as it used to in the coastal town where Maike was the "black sheep" as an illegitimate child. She wants to leave as soon as possible. However, Jasper refuses to get to know his possible fathers. The men also begin to take the determined boy to their hearts.
