Downstream People (2015)

Water that cleans. Water that drags. A cosmopolitan city such as Miami will welcome people from all walks of life, and once here, it's easy to get lost in the lights. 'Downstream People' snapshots, contrasting stories with crossing highs and lows that show the best and worst of the city. Downstream People was inspired by origins of the name of Miami. There are different interpretations for Miami amongst the northern and southern tribes, but they all have a reference to bodies of water. In one of the cases it means "downstream people", which took a more metaphoric meaning for this story.
