Almost Never

After years of trying, a young high school student finally convinces her parents to allow her to finish school in America. Initially shy and guarded, she begins to open up to a charismatic young man and love is in the air. Realizing that society may not be ready to accept their union due to racial and religious constraints, she sets clear boundaries, albeit too late. She is forced to return to her country. After many years and a series of unfortunate events, she finds her way back to America and rekindles her relationship with her, now very successful, high school sweet heart.
