Perception (2017)

Isaac Jimenez is a young prodigy with a knack for lying: Something his father, a hard-working Mexican immigrant, strongly disapproves of. And being the first in his family with a rare opportunity, especially where his father (Hector) comes from, it's up to Isaac to seize the moment. Following a family consisting of three-generations of male Latinos, the variances between their upbringing is evident. Yet they still work as one unit in a struggling landscaping business. And with money being non-existent, Isaac must fight for his chance to get into the Art school he's been accepted to, even if it means finally telling the truth and taking his father's advice. But does the telling truth ever come at a certain cost?
