L'ordre vert (2004)

-"L'Ordre vert" is a French docu-drama directed by Corinne Garfin in 2004, adapted from Michel Mourlet's play "La Méditation au jardin", created in 1966 on France Culture in homage to the gardener of Louis XIV, André Le Nôtre, creator of the Château de Versailles park. This colour feature film was shot in video, with professional actors and the author playing his own role. It offers two particularities: to be the only film entirely devoted to the life, work and thought of Le Nôtre and, until proven otherwise, to be the lowest budget feature film in the history of cinema. "L'Ordre vert" has been selected by the International Festival of Audiovisual Programmes (IFAP) and the International Festival of Documentary Fiction (FIDOC). Released on DVD after a preview presentation at the international conference "Jardin et intimité dans la littérature européenne" (University of Clermont-Ferrand, France, 2006), it was the subject of a book: "Le Jardin du paradigme" which reproduces its layout, with quotations illustrating its purpose.
