Senior Getaway (2015)

'Senior Getaway' follows an overnight camp for those aged '55 or better' at Camp Mather on the outskirts of Yosemite National Park. It's not your grandmother's overnight camp! Every year a group of 200 adults from San Francisco, CA venture to Camp Mather, on the edge of Yosemite National Park to attend Senior-Get-Away, an overnight camp for those "55 and better." Told from the point of view of the seniors themselves, Gerry and Anita who have been friends for 30 years, both school teachers; Susan, a former professor who came to camp for the first time solo; Pablo, a retired SFRPD Aquatics supervisor who continues to give back to the community by volunteering his time at the camp. Camp Mather's program challenges what it means to be a 'senior' in today's world by offering campers a classic camp experience.
