Poolside Man (2016)

Yasuzo works as a lifeguard at a local swimming pool. Leading a lonely and monotonic life, no one is aware of what lurks beneath his cool surface. POOLSIDEMAN, winner of the "Japanese Cinema Splash Award" at the 2016 Tokyo International Film Festival, creates a tense atmosphere with long takes and monochrome images while developing a psychogram of its inscrutable protagonist.
