Saman (2016)

Lieutenant Colonel Saeidi has a 33 year-old son called Saman, who has Muscular Dystrophy. Saman is charismatic, intelligent and admired by everyone around him, especially his father. According to the doctors, Saman should have died more than 10 years ago, but due to a ferocious will to live, he has survived against the odds and through several comas. Saman believes that he would receive better care and possibly be cured in the West, but his father resists Saman's appeal to move to a developed Western country. One day, after coming out of a long stupor, Saman appears to miraculously know of events that had happened while he was in the coma. This puzzles and unnerves his father, and then a new development changes their entire family forever.
