Mettetal Airport: The Jewel of Canton and Plymouth (2015)

A short historical documentary about Mettetal Airport located in Western Wayne County, Michigan. Rare archival photos feature Michigan Governor G. Mennen Williams landing at the airport in 1956. The history features Robert Mettetal and how he contributed to the growth of the area after World War II. Today, besides recreational flying, the airport is vital to the economic growth of the Canton-Plymouth-Northville areas and is a strong contributing factor to the education of area S.T.E.M. students.
