Resolution (2016)

An out of work Man with very good corporate skills is seeking a job. He has hit some hard times, having gotten fired from his previous job after an altercation with his former boss. He also has a child who has an undisclosed illness, so there is drama with his family. He is meeting with a mysterious corporate recruiter at a restaurant to discuss job possibilities and turn around his desperate situation. They will discuss various subjects; from the Mans past career to his possible heroism confronting his boos, to the way his company caste him aside, and what choices he is open to when it comes to the future of his family. The themes of fate, people choices, and taking responsibility for the hard luck that life sometimes hands us are all explored in the conversation. Meanwhile in a dream like sequence, the Man is also taking a symbolic journey through the desert as he contemplates his fate and future decisions. He becomes aware that the job is different than what he expected, and the personal costs may be high. What will the Man learn about himself and how far is willing to go to help his family and redeem his professional career? What will he choose...
