In 2007, the demise of the traditional tiers of the music industry serve as the backdrop as a young musician, Ace, leaves his band to pursue a solo career. Simultaneously, Ace's relationship with visual artist Eva is taking on new ground. To raise the cash he needs to make an album and go to the next level with Eva, Ace draws on a friend from the past and soon his life spirals out of his grasp.
