A new trend is taking over Trevor's school. His classmate Griffin is the first to discover the joys of being brain-dead. Then it was a kid from Trevor's history class. Then another. And another. An Automated External Defibrillator or AED can save a life when it's powerful voltage is used to jump-start a dying heart. Well, the other kids figured out that this same electric shock, with the nodes applied to one's own head, will destroy the parts of your brain that allow you to feel or remember...well anything. What the other kids figured out is the secret to happiness. They have their whole lives ahead of them now, lives of indulgence and bliss, of being waited upon, and applauded for doing something as simple as using the bathroom on their own. Trevor never liked trends, or games of follow-the-leader, or being herded through the school like a sheep. He and his girlfriend Trisha were among the first to witness Griffin's electric shock, ground zero of the self-lobotomy craze. Trevor's even being questioned by school authorities about why this disturbing misuse of medical equipment has become the hot new thing. He claims not to know, but deep down he's beginning to understand the appeal... 'Zombie' was a Temple University final project by Zach Niblick and Bennett Moore.
