Tangerine Crossandra (2017)

Tangerine Crossandra is 21 year old Kathryn McIntosh's directorial debut. At the core of the quick paced thriller drama, in which we trace the moments leading up to Dmitry and Anna's reunion, the film speaks to the absurdity and chaos of life. As Dmitry sends his seemingly well-intentioned letter, he does so knowing that he is still a toxic presence in the lives of others. Seeing Anna's success in the newspaper brings him a sense of joy, knowing that she had overcome his absence and accomplished so much. But Dmitry's arsenic. He just can't let good things happen to himself, or anyone around him.
