(o vento lá fora) (2014)

"(O Vento Lá Fora)" - or "The Wind Out There" - is a portrait of the poet Fernando Pessoa, created from the reading of his poems by Professor Cleonice Berardinelli, recognized as the greatest specialist of Pessoa in Brazil, and by the singer Maria Bethânia, who throughout almost 50 years of her career popularized the work of the poet in shows and albums. Presented to the public only once, at FLIP 2013, the reading was filmed at Biscoito Fino's studio for two days by director Marcio Debellian. At the first day, Cleonice and Maria recorded a CD with the complete reading. In the second, they performed the reading for a small audience. The script of the film consists of the sewing of the poems with conversations about the work of Pessoa, highlighting aspects of the personality of its heteronyms Alberto Caeiro, Álvaro de Campos and Ricardo Reis. The atmosphere of intimacy and humor in the interaction between Cleonice and Bethânia help to punctuate the rhythm and fluidity of the script, which also appropriated excerpts from the letter in which Pessoa himself explains the genesis of his heteronyms to the Portuguese poet Adolfo Casais Monteiro. The documentary was filmed in black and white and lasts for 64 minutes, with a musical track featuring Nelson Freire (performing Liszt and Schumann), compositions by Egberto Gismonti performed on flute and violin, and a small participation by Maria Bethânia herself on the piano. It is a film of two lovers of Pessoa, who enthuses by the enchantment with which they declaim, talk and reveal their "intimacy" with the author.
