Everest '53

EVEREST '53 is a historically accurate recreation of the most famous mountain climb in history, bringing to life Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay's historic first summit of Mt. Everest in an immersive 3D environment. A project five years in the making, EVEREST '53 collaborated closely with the families of Hillary and Tenzing and involved curation assistance from historians, climbers, and cartographers of such notable organizations as the Royal Geographical Society, National Geographic, and BSF Swissphoto. EVEREST '53 is the definitive visual record of one of the 20th century's most celebrated human achievements.
