Tödliche Freundschaften (2009)

The movie is about two families, Vespuci and Luciano. The two clans fight a longstanding, competitive battle about the individual drug areas of the city. The two bosses Giovanni Vespuci and Tony Luciano bouth it out for control at the city everyone wants to gain the upper hand. A spy has infiltrated the Vespuci family. He is a very important source of information for Tony, so the Luciano family knows when they will strike back. The spy is unmasked soon, and rendered harmless. As a quick reaction Giovanni Vespuci decides on his own to make peace, to calm down the situation. This achieved very quickly and effectively. Of course the Luciano family is also on reflecting, why the approach changed. Tony Luciano decides to seize this moment and wants his "friend" - Giovanni Vespuci eliminated. A contract killer, who is introduced at the beginning of the story, comes back and to do it. Unfortunately, the attempt fails. The hit man kills Giovanni's wife Elize instead. The short-term peace between the two families is broken again. Giovanni Vespuci calls for revenge- a "vendetta". Tony Luciano knows nothing of the "Vendetta", so Giovanni Vespuci can surprise him at his weekend house and execute him. Now there should be no problem, because the head of the Luciano family is has been eliminated. The terrible alternative end happens after forty years. Giovanni Vespuci is enjoying the peace in his garden, when a man visits him and brings Giovanni Vespuci a message: "Greetings from Tony Luciano".
