Block (2017)

The story is about a young university grad called Will Miller suffering with severe writer's block and a burning desire to make money and have no worries in life, like all of us. After becoming very interested in some local news stories, Will becomes fixated on the crime world and starts to get ideas for a series of crime thriller stories focusing on the fictional life of 'Nathan De Forte,' a ruthless and determined thug looking to be at the top of the food chain. Will then steps into the crime world, performing minor acts of crime as Nathan would, in order to get inspiration to continue writing his stories. Over time, this eventually spirals out of control as Will becomes obsessed over living life as Nathan to get gripping yet 'realistic' plot points. From this point, things start affecting his normal life and Will and Nathan's world slowly become indistinguishable.
