In a land not so far away from our own Betty Lou, "Mannie's House of Fashion"'s only display model, reveals she is unable to work on the eve of the major shopping weekend. Derek Van Mannie, the reputable owner and manager of the shop, and his trusted assistant, Peter Toole, look to her agency to replace her. Unfortunately, Derek's nemesis at "Kerrid's House of Fashion" has already booked every other woman in the catalogue, forcing Derek and Peter to come up with a more creative alternative.
