Mark Twain Playhouse: The Celebrated Frog Legs of Carnivorous County (1994)

The plot of this vegetarian satire of the meat-eater follows Jim Smiley and Daniel the Celebrated Jumping Frog to the events that took place immediately following the story of the Celebrated Jumping Frog. While James Romine preaches a satirical mystification of human dominance over the rest of the animal kingdom, Jim Smiley listens closely until he is confronted with a moral dilemma and spiritual emergency. This story was part of an ongoing series between 1991 and 1995.
