History Undercover goes back to 1965 to look at how civil rights activists in Alabama attempted to march from Selma to Montgomery in order to register to vote. As they crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge, violence erupted as the Alabama police attacked the marchers in a bloody unprovoked assault that caused controversy throughout the country.
