Hitchhiker: An American Story

Leo (24) after losing his friend William in a car accident, decides to leave his old life behind and to go to Los Angeles and precisely to Venice, where he and his grandfather, when he was a child, lived the best days of his childhood. Secretly, he decides to leave Searchlight, a small city in Nevada, by hitchhiking. During the journey, the guy meets different people and places that make him grow and become aware of himself and of his desires. Through the trip, Leo understands and knows many aspects of Los Angeles that he didn't know and believed that they could not exist in a city like that. And in fact, as soon as he is footed in the city, he is faced with the dark side of LA, what is not told by cinema and TV. The guy is shaken but through Peter's knowledge (24), who will help him in his personal growth path, he learns to survive quickly into the city. Peter, however, is not as pure as he may seem, he has also learned to survive in the city of angels and for living, makes the pusher, which destabilizes Leo and sends him to crisis. In addition, he experiences a dramatic experience with Peter, who will take him to give up everything and go home. But thanks to Kate (22), a friend known during hitchhiking, will come back on her steps to try again to conquer Los Angeles.
