Requiem for a Lost Soul (2017)

Alina Asgre. A brilliant woman with a doctorate in computer information technology. A high paying job with an international pharmaceutical company. Everything going for her. Until - she loses her life partner in a violent home invasion. Unable to cope with the loss, she buries herself in her work - and alcohol. Whiskey has become her new life partner. But it has brought about some tragic consequences. Accidents. Pain. Suffering. And the destiny of a 14 year old girl who is now in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. It has been two years, and the state must now assess her mental health and determine if she is able to return to society and all the benefits that includes. Including the return of her drivers license. A psychiatrist is sent to make the determination. Alina's future rides on the outcome of this assessment. How will she fare?
