The Battle of Oriskany (2009)

When British General Burgoyne devises a plan to destroy the United States in 1777, his plan is thwarted in large measure due to the American victory in the Battle of Oriskany. This little known battle, which was the Revolutionary War's bloodiest, helped make possible the American victory at Saratoga, which was the turning point of the Revolutionary War.
