Companion (2017)

Tom is a 69 year old pensioner and grieving the recent loss of his wife. Tom's daughter Susan recognises Toms loneliness and grief and decides to get him a companion. Ted, a chocolate Labrador, is dropped at Tom's door. After initial doubts their friendship begins to blossom. However, Tom's health takes a turn for the worse and Ted is left alone. History repeating itself, Ted's loneliness and grief for Tom is all too apparent and soon Susan decides that Ted needs a Companion.
