Jawad is a medical student whose brother is murdered. He agonizes over the pressure of killing his brother's murderer, which is expected, according to a tradition of blood feud practices in the village. On the one hand, his father, Khalil is a law abiding policeman, and as such is considered a 'collaborator' in the village, and he strongly objects even the thought of a violent revenge. On the other hand, his friend urges him to avenge his brother's death by killing the murderer and to save his family's honor. Jawad is torn between the two notions, and tries to find a way to bridge the gaps. He doesn't feel any respect towards his father, yet he loves him, whereas he respects his friends, yet feels no love for them. The movie 'Blood Feud' tells a story about a clash between tradition and modern values. A story of dilemmas, intertwined in the lives of many Arab-Israeli citizens.
