Sixteen-year-old Geeta was brought to the United states as domestic worker by an Indian couple who promised of her The American Dream. Her new environment is more than she could have hoped for in India because of her poor socio-economic status there. There are no obvious signs of violence in this modern-day household, but Geeta is being enslaved and mentally abused. As a result, she must make a choice: should she go back to India and a life of poverty or stay in the U.S. in a beautiful cage?
