Void (2021)

This film halfway between drama and horror tells the story of the relationship between Sofia and her mother Helena, who have a troubled relationship marked by guilt due to a traumatic event of the past. What's worse, this incident is linked to Helena's strange behavior, which brings to light a series of dark secrets with an unimaginable reach. The director of this independent film, Rodrigo Lages, mentions the films Rosemary's Baby (1968) and Hereditary (2018) as personal influences.
