Rangeen Gudhooli (2008)

Labanya and Kumaresh are childhood sweethearts who lived in a village in Bangladesh. They get engaged to each other, but then the liberation war of 1971 happens. The couple gets separated by the war and loses touch completely. Years after they meet again on a trip. Both of them are old now and have a family of their own. While Labanya is married to Sasanka and has a son called Bratin, Kumar is widowed and has a daughter Tanima. It does not take long for the long lost couple to recognize each other and they cannot get over each other even after returning to Kolkata. They start to meet secretly but at some point of time, it comes into open. The problem starts thereon. Sasanka takes the matter in a lighthearted manner with sportsman's spirit but his son Bratin does not do so. He creates a fuss. On the other hand tanima supports Kumar's actions but his husband doesn't. Things get even more complicated as Sasanka has a heart attack. Before things get murkier kumar leaves the city to avoid any more scandals and the movie ends on a sad note.
